WIP

It was a welcomed change to be back in my sewing room this past weekend!  I took a break for a bit to brush up on my canning skills and get some tasty treats preserved for enjoyment this fall and winter.  But, it feels great to be back behind the machine!

I wanted to work on something new, but something that would keep me coming back for more.  I think this project was a success in that department!

The plan is to make a twin size and I just love how all the blues and greens look great together.  I ended up adding white to the mix when I started sewing it up and like it even better now!  I am taking a random approach to placement of the colors and just grabbing from the pile next to the machine.  I cannot wait to see it all finished!

Have a great day!

  1. Your color choices are wonderful and I admire the ability to just take off the pile and sew together!! I'm a control freak. . . it took me days of rearranging before I settled on a 'design' for my triangle quilt - yours proves random works just as well!! :)

  3. Be careful with that triangle quilt....mine kept growing and growing and growing! I finally had enough of cutting and sewing and pressing triangles that I had to quit....and I STILL have enough to do a small one! But we love it, and we use it on our king sized bed. I really like your color choices - it is looking fantastic!
