It was a welcomed change to be back in my sewing room this past weekend! I took a break for a bit to brush up on my canning skills and get some tasty treats preserved for enjoyment this fall and winter. But, it feels great to be back behind the machine!
I wanted to work on something new, but something that would keep me coming back for more. I think this project was a success in that department!
The plan is to make a twin size and I just love how all the blues and greens look great together. I ended up adding white to the mix when I started sewing it up and like it even better now! I am taking a random approach to placement of the colors and just grabbing from the pile next to the machine. I cannot wait to see it all finished!
Have a great day!

Love this quilt!! Wonderful color
ReplyDeleteYour color choices are wonderful and I admire the ability to just take off the pile and sew together!! I'm a control freak. . . it took me days of rearranging before I settled on a 'design' for my triangle quilt - yours proves random works just as well!! :)
ReplyDeleteI just love the colours you chose for your triangle quilt...all the shades of the ocean!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat color combination.
ReplyDeleteLove triangles and love solids. Great combo!
ReplyDeleteBe careful with that triangle quilt....mine kept growing and growing and growing! I finally had enough of cutting and sewing and pressing triangles that I had to quit....and I STILL have enough to do a small one! But we love it, and we use it on our king sized bed. I really like your color choices - it is looking fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWhat a soothing color combo!
