WIP

It was such a great weekend filled with sunshine, sewing, and catching up with friends.  The 1 year anniversary deadline for the wedding quilt on my to do list is fast approaching and I am happy to report that I have made significant progress!  I used the Puddle Jumping pattern from Thimble Blossoms, but put my own twist on it with a small white border around each block in addition to the sashing.  I used a quilt as you go method and have both halves quilted.  It is close to finished, now I just have to decide on the backing and binding fabrics.  I always seem to wait until the last minute to decide on these.  Does anyone else do that too?

  1. This is lovely, I really like the green you've used for the sashing. I also never know what I'm going to put on the back until the front is finished.

  2. I have been looking at this pattern. I LOVE the small white border before the sashing. Makes the centers really pop. Great Job!

  3. Hi Jenn! This is a really lovely quilt! Thank you so much for commenting on my Absolutely, Positively quilt. You are a no-reply blogger, so I could not email you directly back. To answer your question regarding the quilt label, I use a Pigma Micron pen for my labels. I set the ink with a very hot iron, and it is machine washable and will not fade. If you are interested, I have an entire tutorial on how I create and attach the label here-
