The green damask print was repurposed from the table runners at the reception. A quilting cotton was specifically chosen with this dual purpose in mind. The pattern is my variation of Puddle Jumping by Thimble Blossoms and the quilt blocks feature prints from the Happy Go Lucky collection by Bonnie and Camille for Moda. The binding is a stripe print from Bonnie and Camille's April Showers collection. I used a quilt as you go method and quilted it in two large sections. I am pretty impressed with how it turned out. It is actually the largest quilt I have quilted on my sewing machine. Yay!!

ReplyDeleteWow! I love your quilt! Colours are awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is fabulous and I love that it incorporates the wedding table runners and what a great idea to use that fabric especially to make it into this quilt afterwards. I imagine the happy couple will be even happier when they see it :D - Chris
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is lovely! Great planning on using the same fabric for the table runners. I finished my daughter's wedding quilt in *only* 7 years. So you're way ahead of me!
